Incentives in the Snow
Mountain experiences have long been popular with those who grew up on the slopes. From the young age of snow plowing on the baby run up to the adult experience companies promising once in a lifetime apres-ski and a chalet complete with host and home-cooked meals.
There are those who grow out of the ski-scene as they grew out of the party scene and then there are those who commit to it for life. Those that know that skiing is about so much more than aprés and hot tubs. It is those that have a true love of the mountains that stick it out year on year, knowing that it is about the calm, the freshness of the air and the full weekend experience of unrivalled scenery.
Mountain based incentive trips are becoming increasingly popular for those good reasons. Not only is skiing an incredible reward based activity the mountain ranges of Europe offers so much more.
On a recent snow based trip hosted by Conference News, Team Unicorn were lucky enough to experience the full splendour of a trip to the white vistas.
Chamonix in France is a great starting point for your first snow based incentive trip. It is easily accessible from air hub Geneva and beautiful enough that you feel like you have truly escaped. The ever popular Chamonix town is plugged full of shops, bars and ski centres but just a little jaunt further up the mountain is the beautiful town of Argentière.
Here you will find true luxury and the start of your incentive programme by checking in to the unrivalled 5* chalets of Les Rives D’Argentière.
The accommodation offering here is outstanding. Selecting from 4 interconnected chalets it is like arriving into your own little piece of the mountain. The views are spectacular, the “we can do anything” service is second to none and the home-cooked food is delightful.
The chalets here are built to include movie theatres, onsite gym, ski boot rooms, dining room, private outdoor hot tubs and endless secret hideaway corners. The team will also arrange all mountain activities, all ski and lift passes, spa trips and private mountain tours. If you’re really brave you can even get a sunrise mountain run in, (not for those who dislike hills).
The real beauty of staying here however is your location by Mont Blanc. Skiers and non-skiers are spoilt for choice of activities as it is perfectly positioned for hiking, snow activities, spa and yoga relaxation or just strolling around town.
For those who do ski (or want to learn on the incentive) the team at Grands Montet are phenomenal and we know from first-hand experience they have some of the best beginners instructors in the area.
Here at Unicorn HQ we are always looking for new and exciting incentive experiences and we may have just found it in the French alps. Get in touch to chat all things snow, incentives and mountain air.
